This group get smany submissions, and when even one or two of us can't spare the time to come online (let's face it, this is perfectly normal with work, college, university, life...) things here tend to start slowing down! Lately, many submissions are expiring before a final voting decision is made (sometimes only 2 votes is needed, sometimes 3).
So we've decided to take on a few more moderators.
What we are looking for and what to expect:
-you have to be a photographer (this is very important - who are you to judge others when you don't do it yourself? People can get defensive when you decline their work so we don't want this kind of argument cropping up somewhere!)
-professional, amateur or hobbyist, it doesn't matter, provided you understand the technicalities of photography
-we judge many aspects of a photo critically; DoF, composition, lighting, sharpness, etc - if any one of these is hugely, noticebally wrong, we decline it (also we decline if its submitted into the wrong folder, no matter how good it is) please see this for more info:
[link]-you must be prepared to be able to judge critically and be able to decline
-you must be able to provide constructive criticism: when someone asks for a reason of decline you must be able to tell them which technical aspect let them down and offer how to improve it, aswell as pointing out a good aspect that they nailed

If you are interested, please note the group and let us know (also include any experience with groups or anything that may help us decide between candidates). We will look through your gallery to confirm that you understand technical aspects of photography.
Thanks,
StunningPhotography Team
